About

I'm a visual artist based in Örebro, Sweden. This website is dedicated to my personal photography projects. They range from planned studio shots and art references to the results of photowalks, when I wander through my town chasing blue hour or golden hour light. I mix modern lenses with old vintage glass because I enjoy the different character they bring. I use the camera as a sketchbook for my drawings and paintings, and sometimes the photographs become artworks in their own right.

Outside of photography, I run art sites for my drawings and paintings. I also work as a developer. I went to art school in the 90s and worked as an artist for a few years. When the dot-com bubble was at its peak, I stumbled into the IT world. Since then, I’ve balanced a creative life with a career in IT and gained experience in both fields — sometimes combining them.

The technical side

I use both modern and vintage gear, mixing contemporary lenses with old glass because I enjoy the different character they bring and the tactile feel of a manual lens. At the moment, I use a Sony A7C, and I also shoot film. When it comes to software, I’m a fan of open-source applications and use Darktable on Fedora Linux.

Reproducing my other artwork is another way I use my photography gear. It may not be as exciting, but achieving high-quality reproduction is challenging and requires precision.

I hope you enjoy my work
